Hi there. Bonjour. Yeah.

I'm Rose. I'm also hilarious. I'm twenty-four years old and I have a BA in French.  I live in Montréal, Québec where I'm working on getting my Master's in francophone lit.  (Alors parlez-moi en français!)

I'm a bit of an introvert in person, although people have trouble believing that I'm shy. I can be the most talkative person if you come up to me, but I cannot for the life of me go up to someone and say "hi". It is simply impossible. Online, I find it a lot easier to be myself and to express myself. I'm pretty loud and nuts - I love to laugh and have fun and make silly jokes and puns. Anti-jokes are the best. People have described me as sweet, but I can be pretty snarky and sarcastic. (Sarcasm is my second language.)

I have dreams of being a published novelist one day, and I've always got ideas for different stories floating around my head. Sometimes I write poetry, although not nearly as often as prose. I also love singing and do it constantly, whether you want me to or not. Games are fun, too - The Sims, The Legend of Zelda, anything Mario, Black & White, and World of Warcraft to be specific. (My account on WoW is currently inactive, however.)

In terms of music, I like a bunch of different stuff. My favorite singer is Bruno Pelletier while my favorite band is Evanescence. I also adore Megadeth, Julie Zenatti, Marie-Mai, Sarah McLachlan, Gabrielle Destroismaisons, Josh Groban, Halestorm, Metallica, Shinedown, Seether, Natasha St-Pier, and Cassiopee. I also love classical piano. So, yeah, I'm all over the place.

I'm weird in that I don't like or know a whole bunch of movies. I love most things with Tom Hiddleston - he's wonderful. I also love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the Harry Potter series, Labyrinth, and pretty much every Disney movie ever made - especially The Hunchback of Notre-Dame. I'm also a huge bookworm. Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Dracula, Notre-Dame de Paris, The Casual Vacancy, The Lovely Bones, My Sister's Keeper, The Historian, Inkheart. . . . I could go on.
