I recently moved here for a job a few months ago. I'm hoping to meet new people in the area because so far I haven't had any luck. D: I am in a relationship and I'd ideally like to find another couple for us to hang out with, and/or make a female friend that doesn't think 'the club' is the picture of a fun night.
I spend a lot of time reading and writing, both at work and in my own spare time. I'm slowly getting back into comic books. I used to like DC comics when I was younger but lost interest shortly before the New 52 reboot.
I waste a lot of time on the Internet, but I'm not really into facebook, twitter, tumblr, etc. I have a facebook but I rarely use it.
I used to play a lot of WoW but I've stopped playing as much as I used to. I played on an RP server and was an officer of a large Horde-side guild. Lately my gaming has been a bit pathetic and filled mostly with simulators like 'Banished' and Sims.
Lately I've been spending way too much time trying to make low carb "sweets" that actually taste good. I made some pretty great cookies a while ago and since then I've been seeing what else I can do.
...I clearly need to finally meet some people in my area. >_>

Favorite music: I listen to a wide variety. I like that new indie folksy 'country' sound that's popular right now (I'm not cool enough to know what it's actually called), symphonic death metal, 'indie' rock, 'alternative' rock, classic rock, kpop, and some top 40 pop/R&B.
Favorite Book: I read a lot but I rarely re-read books. I would say that the Harry Potter series is a favorite, though, just because I actually -did- re-read those books when I was younger.
