Hello fellow Imgurians! An "About Me" section, huh? Well, I suppose I could give you a little insight as to who/what I am. :)
I'm a 25 year old Electrical Engineer working in the bustling town of Asheville, NC. I've been with my company for a short time now, but they're a great group and I look forward to getting up and going to work every day. Can't ask for much more than that, right?
I'm a technology geek. I like all the cool little gadgets, computers, electronics, etc. Not sure why exactly, but I always have. Maybe it has something to do with being an engineer? Although I do love my electronics, I also thoroughly love the outdoors and separating from the technological side of life from time to time. Be it camping, hiking, fishing, what have you; I enjoy just about all of it.
I do like to play video games from time to time. It's fun to step out of reality and into the shoes of some strange world you don't belong in and making your way through it. I really enjoy the stories in games, it's like watching a movie or TV show, but partially living it and being in the thick of it.
I don't have cable, so I don't watch a lot of TV. I do however have Netflix and on occasion have a "binge TV watching" experience when I discover something really good. Also documentaries, I know that sounds boring, but there is so much cool information out there in them!
Along with Netflix comes movies. I probably watch more movies than I do anything else. I have a rather small collection, nothing too impressive, but I typically only buy movies I REALLY like. It would be impossible for me to pick a favorite movie honestly, there's just way too many.
With music, I focus around bands like Mumford and Sons, Incubus, The Smashing Pumpkins, Brand New, 30 Seconds to Mars, Taking Back Sunday, etc. Bluegrass and some folk style stuff I like as well. I also listen to a lot of Podcasts. I know it's not music, but I figured I'd throw it in there.
