Russian-Canadian recently moved to New York. Hobbies include cooking, reading, grand strategy games, drawing, overdressing every chance I get (think vest and cufflinks, not fedora), scuba diving, and being a huge nerd. I don't have cats anymore, but I think they're pretty great. I am also an affable curmudgeon, neither of which are words that normal, sane people use with any frequency.
I was born in Moscow, Russia in the turbulent 90s, shortly before the collapse of the USSR. Then some stuff happened, and I set out for Canada with a rudimentary command of the English language and a number of amusing anecdotes. Both my English and my anecdotes have since improved dramatically.
I don't like early mornings and vehemently deny the existence of any hour before 7.
What I'm doing with my life
Doing UX design for an enterprise automation software company. If you don't know what any of those words mean, it's computer stuff.
