Let's see, if I had to sum myself up in 4000 characters... I would make a sort of groaning noise because essays were my least favourite part of college. I'm Dave, my deal is I love to make people laugh, whether its on purpose or by spilling tea down my back (long story... well not that long actually, it was on a shelf behind me). That picture there is actually about a year old (I'm not much of a selfie person) I have a big beard now, it is the king of my face, my favourite thing about my body (except maybe my bones, I need them for jumping into water). I'm down for any type of partying, from telling jokes with a few beers to putting illegal things up my nose. I'm from Dublin and have pretty much lived there my whole life except for when I was in Vancouver for 3 months and London for 1, I do enjoy travelling and like to consider myself quite adventurous, maybe even a bit of a daredevil (one time I went up a ladder in flip-flops)
What I'm doing with my life
I suppose my greatest achievement would be that time I fixed a door with a baseball bat. I've also graduated from a 4 year advertising course, worked as a barman, a builder, a waiter and a petrol station monkey. I'm between stuff at the minute, holding out for a job that will actually put my degree to use, I want to be a copy writer in an ad agency so if anyone knows of agencies in Ireland that are hiring or art directors that want to team up with a copy writer, let me know! My pipe dream is to be a recognised stand-up comedian, stand-up is my number 1 passion, favourite thing to watch and I've gone up on stage a few times myself. I was very well-received each time but I haven't bothered to actively pursue a career in comedy because I know how unlikely it is to become successful enough to live off it. So for now its just a hobby, I do it when some friends are organising a comedy night for charity or something and use the rest of my focus on my career in advertising. Might even move back to London since there's a much bigger advertising scene there, also I'd be more likely to actually meet up with one of you! And that's the way (uh huh uh huh I like it) things are going for me right now!
