I'm was born in the middle of nowhere Va, had the chance to travel the world, and still I somehow managed to find my way back.
I have long hair, usually worn in a ponytail in keeping with period standards for work, but wearing it down is one of my guilty pleasures. If you braid it, I am putty in your hands.
I am a DIY fanatic. Family and friends run, hide, and padlock the door to my workshop closed upon hearing me utter the phrase "hmm, I could probably do that." I also love to cook, although I'm only self-taught, so be warned.
What I'm doing with my life
On paper, I'm an Actor-Interpreter with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Unofficially, I'm a living historian and volunteer every chance I get at some sort of reenactment or exposition. Ultimately, I'd love to get into either extra-acting in LotR, Game of Thrones, or similar programs, but I'd be more than happy to work in prop-making or armoring for period shows.
At the very least, I want to work in some capacity in a smithy for the rest of my life. There's something intoxicating about the smell of scorched metal and burning coal, and in the cacophonous cadence of crashing hammers.
Favouritest of all the things
Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, Firefly, and most other things nerdy.
Love working with my hands.
My darkest secret
I accidentally fell in love with my best friend and never got the chance to tell her how I felt before her untimely death in a car accident. Afterwards I found that she'd been struggling with how to tell me she felt the same way. That was a bad day.
