I always have a lot of trouble filling out the "about me" of things
Back in my online dating days, I made two roughly identical (different enough so people wouldn't suspect they were the same person, but same basic info) OKCupid profiles, one with normal face pics of myself, and one with only sexy neck-down pictures, just to see what happened. The results were about what you'd expect--sexy profile got about 3x more replies, and the people who messaged both were much more... risque with the sexy picture account--but sadly I didn't save any of the messages. Still mad at myself about that.

What I'm doing with my life
I have a BSc in genetics and it was ~my dream~ to become a researcher but then ~my dream~ went down the crapper when Things Happened and tl;dr it's now impossible and I'm still pretty bitter! And a BSc in genetics by itself isn't even worth lining the floor of a rat cage so right now I'm just sort of like ????
I will say this: I still love genetics and I happily come into any facebook friend's post that tangentially mentions DNA to write essays about it (like when someone recently posted about a !!MALE CALICO CAT!! up for adoption) but I stay the fuck out of GMO conversations and flat-out ignore anyone who tries to bring up the subject with me, except to say "support a starving geneticist, eat a GMO today."
I also did a brief stint writing Kindleporn and actually had a couple minor hits. I keep meaning to write more but man, writing about the ol' in-and-out gets boring after a while.

My darkest secret
Dogs don't like me for some reason. They just don't. Cats do, but that's because they can sense that I'm allergic to them and therefore they cause me misery. (Little do they know I love cats despite all the eye-watering and throat-swelling, so it is I that manipulate them. Ha ha, cats. Ha ha.)
